We are currently facing a Covid-19 pandemic, it has been almost 6 months since this pandemic has hit the world. Tak Hayal Indonesia Was Also Affected By The Impact In March 2020, And Currently The Government Of Indonesia Is Launching A New Normal Program To Deal With The Current Covid 19. Then Is Medan Area University Ready For New Normal?
Medan Area University has established a New Normal Health Protocol which must be obeyed by all campus residents while in the UMA Campus environment, namely:
- Everyone must have their body temperature checked by the security guard at the entrance gate, before entering the UMA Campus environment.
- Everyone is required to use a mask correctly according to health regulations.
- Everyone must wash their hands in the place provided or use a hand sanitizer before entering the room.
- Everyone is required to maintain a distance (physical distancing) while in the campus environment.
- Avoiding crowds (more than five people) while in the campus environment.
- Everyone is not allowed to attend campus and is allowed to rest at home if they experience symptoms of Covid-19.
- Everyone is required to take an active role in maintaining cleanliness and health while in the UMA Campus environment.
Medan Area University has prepared the infrastructure for the implementation of the New Normal Health Protocol, in the form of:
a. Provide hand washing facilities in all campus buildings.
b. Provide hand sanitizer facilities at every room entrance throughout the campus building.
c. Spray disinfectants in all rooms in each building, before and after use
d. Installing warning billboards placed in strategic locations, containing: 1) maintaining cleanliness, 2) obligation to use masks, 3) e. applying social distancing, 4) diligently washing hands in the space provided, 5) wearing gloves, especially for participants f. practicum, 6) disposing of garbage in its place, and 7) maintaining campus order.
f. Provide special masks for guests.
g. Put up a warning sign “MANDATORY AREA FOR MASKER AND HAND WASH” in strategic locations in the UMA neighborhood.
Imposing sanctions for violating health protocols.
In addition, Medan Area University has issued regulations and rules that guarantee the implementation of the New Normal Health Protocol in the UMA Campus Environment, in the form of:
